Autosync addresses one of the most talked-about limitations of mobile uploads today — selective sync. If you recollect, with services like OneDrive and Dropbox, it’s quite a task to sync selective folders and files. It’s either All or None. Autosync addresses this limitation with style. This nifty little app lets you sync documents from specific folders in your phone to a given cloud folder like Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, among others. And the best part is that it lets you auto-sync a cloud folder to your device as well. Interesting, right? Using the app is pretty easy. The volume rockers on your phone only come in handy when you are watching movies or listening to songs. And to be honest, that’s what their job is. However, if you want to put these two buttons to good use, the Almighty Volume Keys app (yep, that’s the name!) is a good place to start. It has several nifty shortcuts that you can customize as per your preference. And bear in mind that the actions are fairly basic like switching on the flashlight, switching your phone to silent mode, or playing media on your phone. So if you want to activate the DND mode at the touch of a button, this app lets you do that. All you need to do is pick and assign the action to it. Aforementioned, there are several actions, both when the buttons are in their idle mode or when the device is playing some media items. 3. One Shade
If you love customizing your Android phone, you are going to love One Shade. This cool app lets you design the Quick Settings menu as per your preference. So yeah, if you want your notification tray colored a crazy shade of yellow, you can do so. And if that was not enough, it also lets you change the shape of icons and add a new trigger for the Quick Settings menu. The app bundles a simple and easy-to-understand UI. All you need to do is select a tab of your choice and the app will walk you through the rest. And if your phone doesn’t support the gesture to pull down the notification button, you can also enable the side trigger. It’s a small handle that stays fixed to the edge of the screen, and when you touch it or swipe your finger over it, the notification drawer opens up. What you will love about Vimeo Create is the abundance of music and animations, which translates into interesting video clips. If you are troubled by spotty Internet connections, let WiFi AR come to your rescue. This quirky little app shows you the approximate speed via AR on the phones which are compatible with Google ARCore. All you have to do is point the camera around, and the speed at those places will be revealed to you. Do note that you will need to walk around a bit so that the app can create a map of the space. Apps like these come in handy, especially if you are looking to establish a Wi-Fi repeater or extender and need to identify the dead zones. When it comes to file-formats and types, PDFs are a little difficult to handle, especially on phones. But over the years, this has changed with apps like WPS Fill & Sign helping the purpose. It’s a simple PDF editing tool that lets you play around with the different elements of a PDF. For instance, if you want to add text or shapes, or to add a comment, this app makes it possible. The primary highlight of this app is its Signature feature. You simply need to create a digital version of your signature and add the same to the PDF. 7. Doublicat
Ever wanted to see yourself in place of Wonder Woman? If yes, say hello to Doublicat. This cool little app uses AI (RefaceAI) to swap out your face. The only catch is you can do so only in GIFs. And unlike similar apps, here the swap is so seamless that it’s actually difficult to see the difference between the real image and fake. All you need to do is click a selfie, and select a funny GIF to replace and bam! You have a new meme to circulate. If you are concerned about your face data falling into the wrong hands, worry not, for the company claims that they delete the photos right away after processing.
