Pin Tab is a feature in Chrome that helps you reduce the tab size to just a favicon. Right click on a tab and click on Pin Tab to get it done. Simple.

You could also drag tabs towards the left to pin them automatically. Certainly useful when you’ve got some tabs permanently open.
